Every day there are people in our lives who deserve our thanks. Here are some ways you can show your appreciation:
• Send a hand-written thank-you note or card.
• Place an unexpected phone call just to say “thank you.”
• Go the high-tech route by sending an e-mail or text message.
• Pay attention to what they might enjoy most, like specialty coffee or a favorite candy bar, and surprise them with it.
• Send flowers or pick a bouquet from your garden.
• Give a gift certificate for a manicure or massage, or to their favorite restaurant.
• Buy them a magazine subscription. It’s a monthly or bi-monthly reminder of your appreciation.
• Cook them dinner or bake them a treat.
