the most budget-conscious scrimpers and savers among us know how it
feels. Sometimes, even after we buy the groceries, pay the mortgage,
put gas in the car and take care of all those other necessities,
there’s still a part of us that yearns to splurge on an object or
service that we may not really need, but that we know will make us, or
someone we care about, happy. Whether it’s a manicure or a Mercedes,
such luxuries in life can help make living it more worthwhile.
